GG Education Consultancy was founded by Gérard Goulé – one of the foremost practitioners of international recruitment and marketing in the United Kingdom with over 25 years experience of  working in the field of international education.

Gérard worked initially with the British Council in London on the flagship Chevening scholarship Mexico ‘Desk’ and later as part of the UK  international  education export team – the Education Counselling Service (ECS) before moving to the University of Sheffield.  With over 8 years experience in direct international recruitment and   marketing at Sheffield and 6 years as Director of the Admissions and International Office at the University of East Anglia with responsibility for UK and international marketing and recruitment – Gerard has a proven track record of success in developing and implementing cost-effective international marketing and recruitment strategies.

At the individual student level,  potential University candidates will benefit from Gerard’s  an extensive knowledge of the education systems, government sponsors and contacts most notably in Mexico, Brazil, Turkey and Indonesia. Over the last 25 years, working with scholarship providers and funding agencies Gérard has facilitated the  successful enrolment of over 2,000  university candidates at leading British Universities. Gérard extended his work and influence as an active member of the European Association of International Educators where he was a regular contributor to the annual EAIE forum of workshops and sessions.
